Grayton Beach
- Grayton Beach Ecosystem Tour, Friday, November 6, 9 to 11 AM at Grayton Beach State Park. The guided hike covers the coastal dune lakes. The tour is free, and the park charges a $5 entry fee (event page).
- Grayt Jackalope 10 and 5 Miler, Saturday, November 28. Both courses start and finish at the Grayton Beach State Park trailhead on CR 30A and run on the park trail system. The 10 mile race starts at 8:00 AM and the 5 mile at 8:10 AM. Registration closes Friday, November 27 at 11:59 PM (registration).

Thanksgiving week on 30A: November 22 to 28
Dated events
- Wednesday, November 25: 30A 10K packet pickup at The Big Chill, 11 AM to 6 PM. There is no packet pickup on race day.
- Thursday, November 26: The 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day Races, the 15th annual, in Rosemary Beach. The 10K starts at 7:30 AM, the 1 mile fun run at 7:35 AM and the 5K at 9:30 AM, followed by the awards and post race party in Barrett Square.
- Friday, November 27: Alys in Winter Wonderland at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre, 4 to 6:30 PM, with a holiday concert at 4 PM and the tree lighting with Santa at 6:30 PM. It is free and open to the public, and activity lines close at 5:45 PM. More on the town is in our Alys Beach guide.
- Friday, November 27: Breakfast with Santa in WaterColor and Holiday Movie Night in Seaside (details above).

- Highway 30A is closed to all traffic on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, between East Water Street in Rosemary Beach and Bridge Lane just east of The Big Chill. Watersound Parkway also closes north of 30A for the 5K. Plan showings in that area for later in the day.
- The Seaside Holiday Parade runs along Scenic Highway 30A from 3 to 8 PM on Saturday, November 28, so schedule Seaside area tours earlier that day.
