July 3rd: The Pre-Game Celebrations

Why wait until the 4th to start celebrating? Kick off the holiday weekend a night early.

Star-Spangled Food Truck Festival

Head over to the open-air center at Destin Commons to kick off the holiday weekend early. Enjoy live music, family activities, and food from more than 25 gourmet local food trucks.  

 When: July 3rd, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM  

 The Big Finale: A massive fireworks show lights up the shopping center at 9:00 PM.

July 4th: Morning Parades & Block Parties

Start your Independence Day with standard coastal traditions, morning sun, and festive energy.

Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade

For a dose of quintessential, quirky 30A charm, do not miss the historic Grayton Beach parade. This is a cheerful, un-registered chaos event where locals and visitors decorate their golf carts, classic cars, bikes, and themselves in patriotic gear to march through the streets.

Seaside Independence Day Celebration & Block Party

The iconic amphitheater in Seaside hosts an all-day extravaganza. It kicks off with a massive Central Square Block Party featuring stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painters, live theatrical performances, and patriotic music parades.

July 4th: Nightlife, Concerts & Fireworks Spectaculars

When the sun goes down, the entire coast lights up. Grab your beach chairs and blankets for the main events.

Destin HarborWalk Village Fourth of July Celebration

The biggest show in Destin proper happens right over the East Pass. HarborWalk Village offers live music and a patriotic atmosphere, culminating in a magnificent display. This year features a coordinated drone show followed by a traditional 20-minute fireworks display over the water, capped off with a live fire-spinning performance on the main stage.

Red, White & Baytowne

Located at The Village of Baytowne Wharf inside Sandestin, this family-friendly festival features lawn games, face painting, kids' crafts, and live music by local bands before lighting up the night sky.  

 When: July 4th from 6:00 PM – 9:15 PM  

 The Big Finale: Fireworks light up right over the Baytowne Lagoon at 9:15 PM.

Seaside & Alys Beach Amphitheater Shows

If you want to stay strictly on 30A for the evening, you have two incredible options:

 Seaside Fireworks Spectacular: Turn your eyes to the Gulf at 8:30 PM for one of the largest fireworks shows on the coast, launched right over the ocean.  

 Alys Beach Concert & Fireworks: Grab a spot on the grass at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre for a live concert from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with fireworks lighting up the beautifully architectured town at 9:00 PM.
